The Centre for Energy Environment Resources Development (CEERD) conducts Training, Research and Consultancy in the field of energy-environment in the framework of international cooperation projects aiming to strengthen the capacity of national governments in the Asian region on above fields. CEERD has been endorsed by Thailand's Ministry of Energy to be a member of the ASEAN Centre for Energy's (ACE) Network of Nodal Centres.
As a natural evolution of the Centre, CEERD is carrying out more and more projects with the private sector, notably in the fields of Sustainable development, Energy efficiency and CDM (Pre/Full feasibility studies, preparation of PINs and PDDs...). CEERD is at present the South East Asian partner from the EU funded project “SETatWork” (www.setatwork.eu) linking Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency in manufacturing and Carbon Markets.
