According to Rita Benoy Bushon, chief executive officer of Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group, the percentage of total women directors crept up to 8.2 per cent in 2010 from 7.5 per cent in 2009, despite equal opportunity in the workplace and universities only eight in every 100 listed company directors are female.
